Mi Cocina in Dallas

It was my first time in Dallas and Mi Cocina Highland Park is in a great location! They also have a great staff. Geo was a great waiter and Brenda, the Manager, got us a great table facing the lights. Would highly recommend. Roll Tide.

This location is always packed, but let me tell you, it is worth the wait. Pur server Geo was above and beyond on every single thing. The managers John and Oscar were so helpful. I love the mango margaritas here.

Absolutely love this location, such an enjoyable experience especially with Maria A. as a waitress!! She is the absolute best. Awesome service. Food is always great.

This spot is my favorite. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very amicable and the cooking they cook is so delicious. I never decline to have a decent meal here. Highly recommended.

My experience at mi Cocina was fantastic I highly recommend this place. The service was excellent, it’s perfect to go with family. My server was Oracio, he told me some good recommendations like the mambo taxi. I will most definitely be going back and will also be asking for Oració to be my server

Ambiance and a see and be seen place. Highland Park crowd is always there and I like the vibe. Drinks are top notch but food is so so.

Mi cocina highland park is one of the best locations! If your looking for great service ask for Geo he is the best! The manager Brenda and Oscar they are so accommodating and polite! Love this place :))

I've been going to this Mi Cocina for several years and although I live in Plano, I prefer to drive to this location because of Berenice. She has been there for several years and the main reason that my family and I enjoy our meals here, besides the great food. Her service is outstanding. You can see the care and love that her repeat customers have for her. The food and drinks are great which is to be expected but customer service is why I frequent any restaurant or location. I recently visited, Mi Cocina, and it was DELICIOUS. Not to mention their wonderful staff, Pedro, our waiter was soooo attentive and recommended the "shrimp tacos", it did not disappoint! so savory and authentic. I highly recommend this location the view/atmosphere is ASTONISHING . Also, Brenda, the manager was exceptionally attentive in making sure her staff was providing the highest level of service, thanks Brenda!

BEST Mexican food EVER...always incredibly fresh, really large servings, and amazing service!! OPEN FOR TAKE-OUT DURING STAY-AT-HOME ORDER!!! You can get margaritas to-go, too, including a great bottle of tequila.... Support Local restaurants and treat yourself at the same time!!!

Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere. Lily Martinez is one of the best Bartender's that I've ever met. Her happy attitude kept me there longer than I should've stayed. She helped provide great service and kept everyone with a smile on their face and a cold beer in their hand.

Stopped by for a few drinks, I believe our bartenders name was Lily? She was very attentive and we stayed longer than we expected. Had a very good time defenetly coming here again.

Beautiful area. The restaurant itself was clean and appealing to look at inside. There might be a small wait depending on the day, but it's worth it. The food is terrific as expected with plenty of variety. The staff really stood out. They were attentive, friendly and very helpful. The place was packed when we went and they took care of us perfectly.

I love going to mi cocina. My server is always Oracio. I highly recommend him as your server he's really attentive, patient and kind. He gives really good recommendations and makes sure you have a great visit.

Went w a friend and sat at the Monkey Bar. Christian was the bartender and the service and attention to detail were impeccable. He mixed our perfect Margaritas to "perfection"(see what I did there?) You all go check him out if you're ever in Highland Park Village and have a craving for a great Margarita with great service.

A little on the pricy side because it’s in a upscale side of town but nonetheless, it was delicious! I got the 50/50 rib eye and chicken fajitas sunset style. The onions were flash fried and complimented the dish well. They were busy but fast.

The women at these restaurants are VERY RUDE. Other locations are much nicer. I would definitely bypass this one.

In A Nutshell:-Mi Cocina, is a very popular Tex-Mex restaurant located inside the luxury shopping center, Highland Park Village in Dallas, Texas.-It's two-story restaurant that is jammed packed.-Come here if you are looking for some very good Tex-Mex food during lunch or dinner.-The service is fantastic, not to mention the finger-licking food.-After shopping, this is the perfect place to relax & refuel.Overall, I'll definitely be back again for more meals.

My wife and I have never experienced in any country what we experienced here last night June 16th at 9:00PM. We were very excited to eat here, and the waitress was very friendly. However, the waitress came over and asked if we could tab out. I said we were still eating. Five minutes later, the general manager is sent over to our table and demands that we check out at 10 o’clock. Music was turned off at 10:05. People reaching for things on our table at 10:10. If you are going to be open until 10 PM, make sure you are OK staying 30 minutes past the closing time, so everyone can have a pleasant dining experience. The most shocking part, was the general manager actually came over demanding us to tab out, although he was friendly. You do not do this at a fine restaurant or any restaurant. During this rushing, my phone fell off the chair and cracked my screen. I have many awesome experiences at Mi Cocina, and this location was unlike any other visits.

This place is FABULOUS! Whether its for a quick drink at the bar or a sit down dinner for 15 in the dining room- this place has it all. And the level of service you'd expect from a restaurant in Highland Park Village.

We ordered chicken enchiladas, quesadillas, el cacina tacos, avocado salad & drinks. Everything was delicious fresh & authentic. The manager came by for a chat she & the staff were AMAZING!

Once again another amazing time. Adair is the most amazing waiter in the world. He makes me feel at home from the moment I walk in. No place on earth treats me like they do here. If I could give Adair 10 stars I would.

What a beautiful location and surroundings. Visited from Ft. Worth since our family lives in the area. The food was outstanding. My husband had the brisket tacos (they were soft tacos)-the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth wonderful. Very moist and tender. It came with a cilantro rice and fresh avocado salad. I had the shrimp tacos (soft tacos also), and let me just say the sauce on the perfectly-grilled shrimp was perfect! Probably one of the best Mexican meals we've had-I would say everything was FRESH and made to order. We'll be back!

If you go hopefully you’re fortunate enough to encounter Lily. She is a breath of fresh air with amazing positive energy! She made me feel very welcomed and was knowledgeable and helpful in deciding in menu items. Love the ambiance and personalities here and cannot wait to return!

I’m so glad that I chose this location to have my going away lunch. The food and service received was immaculate!!! I can’t think of our waiters name, but he was very attentive and patient with us as we awaited our full party’s arrival. I was even surprised that they sat us without the majority of our party being there.Everyone loved their food, nothing was incorrectly prepared, we had no complaints. And to finish out, the manager I believe her name was Julia”?” not sure, but she checked on us inquiring how everything was, and if we were celebrating anything; upon my sharing that we were celebrating my new job/promotion; she offered deserts to add to the celebration. And I thought that was the sweetest!! I can’t leave out the location of this Mi Cocina...I love love love it!!!! I’m definitely returning to this location as my go to Mi Cocina location going forward!!! Thank you all for helping make my last day with my coworkers epic and memorable!!!!
